I've been wanting to do a version of the Jesse fedora for my clients with larger headsizes but keeping that brim straight has been tricky. I invested in a larger crown block this summer and it was perfect for this hat! The Jesse fedora is for someone seeking a statement brim. This hat looks great pushed back so it frames the face like a halo or straight on for a more direct approach. The brim comes in just under 4" wide and the crown is tall enough to balance the width. The headsize on the XL is 23 1/2"-24 1/4" but this can be adjusted before shipping.
This version pairs the black felt with a striking black and white seed bead hat band and a lambskin edged grosgrain ribbon. The white embroidery balances the color across the hat. It's a touch urban cowboy and you will need to bring the confidence for this one (you know who you are). The hat is lined and one of one.
